Christie is a member of both the Institute of Functional Medicine and the School of Applied Functional Medicine. She completed her Dietetic Internship through Indiana University-Purdue University Medical School and obtained her Masters in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Christie’s history includes being a certified personal trainer, a Crossfit Level 1 trainer, a half marathon runner, a restaurant owner, Arkansas’ Emerging Dietitian of the Year (2006), coach of her daughter’s sports teams, an adjunct professor at Harding University, voted Best of the Best in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette 2021, a phlebotomist, an author, and a speaker. She has overcome a 9-year journey of an eating disorder that started at the age of 12. Her thirst for knowledge and understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection has become a passion, evident in her efforts to educate and empower others.
Using patient-centered, evidence-based modalities for lifestyle medicine, Christie addresses the root causes of body imbalances, offering personalized wellness plans. Clients start with a “Symptoms to Solutions” consultation. Some need simple gut health repair for hormone balance and weight loss, while others have complex issues like adrenal or thyroid insufficiency, along with gut health and inflammation. Christie collaborates with all healthcare providers, all for the benefit of the client’s health journey.
Christie’s passion is to help others improve their health through lifestyle medicine, which emphasizes movement and good nutrition, drawing heavily from the Creator’s pharmacy of colorful foods, herbs, and botanicals rich in phytonutrients, minerals, and vitamins. She assists people in healing to reduce reliance on prescription medications. You can find her book, “Root Cause: Turning Symptoms into Solutions,” on Amazon. Christie treats various conditions and invites you to join her on a journey to a healthier new you! Check out her Facebook and Instagram for health and nutrition tips.
Jessica Wood
DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Jessica Wood is a Family Nurse Practitioner working within the Holistic Health Collective. Growing up here in Searcy, Jessica is honored to help improve the lives of her hometown’s community members. She has a beautiful family, and she enjoys spending her free time with them. She also practices and teaches yoga. Jessica’s interests outside of holistic and lifestyle healthcare include applying child psychology and science to help others foster an enjoyable parenting experience, heal from their own past experiences, and grow mentally healthy and resilient children. This interest turned into a passion when Jessica learned the connection between parenting styles and adverse childhood experiences and their profound effects on one’s future mental health and overall quality of life. Her passion for mental health has been a key driver in her career pursuit to provide clients with treatment options based on holistic and functional medicine, with the end goal being to light their path for true healing.
After 8 years in the medical field working in the intensive care unit, a pediatric clinic, and an urgent care, Jessica noticed a common theme: something must change. She could not spend her entire career coding clusters of symptoms and covering up symptoms of underlying organ system dysfunction with expensive pharmaceuticals.
This same fact is what drove Jessica to treat patients through a holistic approach, without time constraints, and with consideration of each individual’s unique life experience.

Kaley Tafolla
Licensed Esthetician
Skin is such an important part of our body. It protects us from the outside elements and it is the first thing that people see. Kaley’s unique approach to skin care began with her own struggle with acne and recurring breakouts starting at the age of 14. She didn’t know where to even begin to look for help. Fast forward 7 years and that experience is what led her to The Salon Professional Academy where Kaley received her license in esthetics. Every individual has their own unique skin type, so Kaley believes that it is important to listen to her clients carefully and customize her services to meet their specific needs.
Kaley incorporates LED light therapy into all her facial services and she currently specializes in relaxing facials, dermaplane facials, treatment facials, and glycolic peels; but the list of services Kaley provides will rapidly continue to grow as she gets certified in more specialized areas. Kaley is very passionate about all things skincare and she loves helping educate her clients on how to achieve and maintain glowing and vibrant skin. Whether you are looking for a new skincare routine that will change (or maintain) your skin health, or just a relaxing day at the spa, Kaley’s knowledge, passion, and meticulous eye for detail will ensure you have the best possible experience!
